The USA Today Weather Map shows its sunny in Seattle, although there's a 60% chance of Penske on the horizon and that's a fate worse than rai-eeee-aaaaaayynnn on your wedding day.....

A comment from a farker: "In other news Congress passes bill to get a feeding tube inserted into the OC's Mischa Barton."
I'm going to hell just for posting that.

This sock was once my partner, and we worked together beautifully. I thus have a difficult decision- the above stupid post and several others over the past few days show the sock is irredeemably brain dead. I want to pull the plug and delete this sock, but RT and Slave, who claim they were responsible for bringing this sock here, say they should have the final say and they are hopeful someday this sock could again make a coherent post- I ask you is a sock who can post this sort of thing someone who could ever come back? Why should I have to continue to sit idly and watch the slow and inevitable deterioration? I suffer from this, given my prior commitment and, yes, devotion.
Can we please just end this?

PVS isn't a noun, so don't say "a PVS". That's like saying "he is a stupid."

It's not a permanent vegetative state that SS is in, because he can understand stuff. "Permanent" and "vegetative" are adjectives but I do believe "state" is a noun in this context.
I think you are a stupid.

Human intellectual evolution is stopping. And reversing. Oh, well. It was fun while it lasted.

It is conveniently easy to chortle derisively at the Southern backwater rubes who actually take this religion thing seriously and who think that their heartfelt views about little issues like God and the nature of existence are important and should not be disregarded or, worse yet, mocked. The problem with doing so is that there are a whole bunch of these laughable little rednecks, with their quaint little "religion," and it seems like a lot of them appear to feel kind of stongly about some of these issues. As is probably obvious to most, I do not personally believe in creationism. But, I have lived long enough to learn that, sometimes, even things I believe really really strongly to be true are, in fact, not true. I guess I am suggesting that, absent omniscience, maybe we can make a little room in our world for alternative viewpoints.

When you use "it" and "it's" in the same descriptive paragraph, there's an assumption that you refer to the same subject. But, nice try.

The proper place for seeking out alternative viewpoints like creationism is church. The proper place to seek out what the academic and scientific community have accepted as the best possible theory is college. Creating a cause of action allowing students to sue their professors because they want to bring their church to school is fucking stupid, redneck or not.
