They are way too polite. Is there going to be more? Or is it just a little "I think this" "well, I think this" dual article thingy? And, geez, not just assistant, but visiting, and not just visiting, but Hofstra? What is Hofstra, anyway?

Gas

Dissent, brother. I still don’t pay much attention to gas prices. I’ve just taken to running all my gas bills through the wife’s business. And if I couldn’t do that? I still wouldn’t get all pissed about it. I mean, really... gas is like water. What am I going to do? Go out and buy a Prius? Try driving that in the Winter up here. High gas prices are just one of those things I lament, along with death, wrinkles, having a job and paying taxes. In fact, gas is like taxes. You do everything you can to avoid paying, but when you have to pay, fuck it. Its just a cost of doing business, and there’s no use griping.
I'm getting ass fucked daily in so many other ways... gas seems the least of the offenses...

Can We Just Stipulate to This?
A woman who was scheduled to get cosmetic surgery for Extreme Makeover is suing the show after they decided not to provide her the surgery after all.
From the article:
The 31-page complaint begins with the line "Deleese Williams is considered ugly."

3rd year.
I only drink wine now, in moderation, because I am a moderator. And currently I am celibate. Like the babyjesus.
It promotes discipline and focus.

Its not like taxes, but other than that I agree with you and less. What are you dissenting about?

I know several plumbers, contractors and auto mechanics who have already adopted this approach. The revolution has not yet come to pass, however, and we remain mired in temporal chains forged by our own unthinking adherence to an inherently fascist conception of "time" as a quantifiable commodity. Dude.

I know this sounds silly, but how incredible would it be if we banned the observation of passing time? Seriously, if we banned the observance of time as its presently done (and fixated upon by idiots who have a hard on for "being organized and maximizing the day"), life would pass much more pleasurably.

I am all for this, and it will be my mantra when I quasi-retire. In fact, my weekend was a warm-up. I pulled an all-nighter for shits and giggles on Friday night, and went straight to the Cal game and started drinking beer at 11:30 a.m. I was passed out at 7:00 p.m., slept 15 hours, and then went to an Octoberfest beer-a-thon yesterday afternoon, which led to $2 all-night Happy Hour until 2:00 a.m. I hurt, but it was worth it.

Has there ever been a camp where there weren't at least some kids didn't want to be there?
I once attended a nerd camp that had a fat camp right across the way, and the two groups did a few things together in an ad hoc way (it was quite the social scene, let me tell you). For the most part the camp seemed to be a good thing, except for the couple of girls who really should not have been there at all, whose only problem was their (or their parents') body image.

A bad place to flunk out of in the mid-sixties, when the draft was on. Or so I have heard.

Possibly, in one of the bathrooms. I don’t do the get-the-blow-job-from-the-hooker bit... I hate 90% of everyone and everything. I can’t go and screw up my relationship with one of the few things I really care for and actually respect. Its too bad you can’t cheat on your career and the people in the industry and city you live in. There should be some grand way to show them that level of contempt.
I was driving in this morning and saw this cesspool from the Schuykill and got the most sickening feeling in my gut. Anyone got a lead for a gig somewhere else? I think Sebby needs a new city. Or at least a gig that lets me travle far away from Shit City regularly.
