If someone has reasonable social skills and is not a completely humorless drone, I don't care if they would rather spend time with their kids than me. Or less than zeroes - ever notice how some people can actually be aggressively boring. The people who are so boring that their boring-ness spreads out like kudzu, smothering all that is interesting or worthwhile around it. Anyway, that I happen to have some good friends at work is just a bonus.

As there is some unrelated discussion here about how some people purportedly think they are holier-than-thou or whatever, I will note that the unstated premise of my personality-based screening is that I am super-fucking cool. But I am, so it's all good.

Hey Jack. After three listens, I think I'm much less keen on "Electric Version" than I was on "Mass Romantic." Not enough Neko (the Onion's review said the same thing). That said, it's still a damn good album. Gonna go listen to it again. By the way, should one with pretentions to being a serious music fan be ashamed to like the new Jack Johnson album? This is purely hypothetical, of course.
