I never shower before using the pool. Why bother, the chemicals will kill anything nasty. Or gnarly.

Reporter: Mr. President, the economy seems to be tanking, is there anything you can point to that would get it back on track?

Franconeur has 8 outfield assists in something like 25 games in the majors this year. Move over Vlad.
Doesn't beat this:

Seriously. Screw you NotBob - I like having the names on the jerseys. I hate the "who's that?" and I hate having to look crap up all the time.

Well, you can't tell the players without a scorecard.

Like I said, I'm more flexible on this one, but I appreciate the old school look.

The Yankees, curse them, have it right.
I wonder if they have numbers on the uniforms for this:

Indian Man Takes Yoga Title

A computer programmer and part-time yoga instructor has won the title of the first "Yogalympics." Vridhay Ganguly, of Calcutta, narrowly defeated Sri Lankan Sourav Dravid in a sudden death pose-off after tying in the timed events. "I would have thought my competitor would not be hindered by a simple Matsyasana," Ganguly said, "but competition can make concentration difficult. This is a great victory for me. I feel very serene."

Competive yoga is a new but rapidly growing sport throughout Southern Asia, and it's popularity is spreading. American David Hackfeld finished 19th.

I'm stunned. Speechless.

And the yoga thing is interesting too.

Battle Raging

So, has anyone ever heard the phrase "strength in depth"? It doesn't really make much sense to me, but this British guy on my desk is insisting that it is correctly used in an e-mail he sent out.

Everyone but the British guy says it should be "lack of strength" or "lack of depth" or "lack of strength and depth". The British guy even came to me before he sent out his e-mail to ask if I've heard the phrase. I said I hadn't, but he may want to google it.

(At least the UK dude knows I'm the answer man.)
