Actual Fashion Question

For outable reasons, I am now forced to wear only flat shoes. Not surprisingly, most flats are dowdy. Anyone seen any that are not?
Thanks in advance. (And, yes, I'm female. If I had clue one about avatars, I would post one of Uma from the movie to make this obvious, but I haven't figured out how yet.)

Can you wear kitten heels? I've seen a lot of cute shoes this spring with those heels.
As for the avatar, would any of these work? If so, let me know which one, and I can upload it for you.

No time to fight Spooky! I'm all a-twitter!
I started an adult ed class last night... in Trapeze! Here look!
Anyways, the lady, "my partner" for the whole class is married w/kid
but maybe she's bored, consider.......
I'm like just doing the jumps, when her foot kind of hits, well you know.
So I'm like "hey maybe me and you can get a post class drink."
She goes "You and I. You and I. You and I. And when you speak a hyphanated phrase you shoud increase the speed slightly to imply the hyphen-tie."
I am so geeked. I never met someone so dominate. Anyway, class is in 3 hours and I'm going to try and find some tights- you know with padding.

Spot on sister! Bill Killer, as usual, PJ rocks. I got these Kenneth Cole flats last month at onlineshoes.com and they rock.

I actually have this same problem (old injury can't wear heels a lot )
I went to the "comfortable" shoe store and got a great pair of Beautifeel flats that I wear all the time.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

Further evidence that you are a brand-name fucker. No wonder you love nice cars so much...yeah, it's for the excitement...

I guess you could wear this while you were chasing the flies.

If the place where I have my circus training (my pet name for it) is as depressing and YMCA-like as the 70s gym in that photo, my first class will be my last.
And as moistness-inducing as that photo otherwise is, it's not exactly what I had in mind. I think the idea is more that you swing from one trapeze over to another, and a brawny (yet elegant), Brad Pitt look-alike catches you in mid-air. (Although I'm willing to give a little wiggle-room on how closely the brawny gentleman must resembe BP for me to continue attending classes. I'm understanding that way.)

thanks!
Thanks for the many suggestions!
Sadly, kitten heels are out (I'm talking flaaaats - it's killing me), but I am looking forward to spending the rest of the afternoon shopping during conference calls. Yay!
