Well ok then.

I had no idea that people felt strongly about this issue. I mean, isn't it a given that 50-80% (there is likely a geographical variance in the exact percentage - I'd guess the % is higher here in Texas, for example) of blonde women are bottle blondes? And why would blonde (really, light brown) pubes be somehow more appealing than darker ones? Why are darker ones "gross"? I find this odd. Enlighten me, please.
I don't mind them. For that matter, I've never really cared whether the rug matches the drapes, either. For me, the only thing that really matters is that it's trimmed enough that I don't choke on it when I'm dining.

My standards must have been too low when I was young.

Pink, green, curly, long, short, braided - if I could see 'em, I was in heaven already. Who cares what color rugs you find in heaven? You're there.

That said, it makes it handy to floss afterward.

actual fashion question

How does attire for comparable professionals in Italy compare to this country? What I mean is, what do biglaw lawyers and in-house counsel wear to work there?

So, I've been thinking about this for a couple of days. I've seen the below ad on the Wonkette's website, and part of me said "she's ugly," and another part said "she's hot." I have to admit that "she's hot" has won.

But help a brother out. Am I wrong? Hot or not? (Yes, I am aware that -- based on the ad copy -- she won't find me hot, but indulge me.)

I did a deal in Italy in late 2000. The Italian lawyers were alwasy impeccably dressed, in suits as I recall. This was 4 years ago, so things may have changed. For the record, I was in Florence. I imagine places like Livorno would be less formal and Rome might actually be less formal too.

Be prepared to hear very scary numbers in Italy. I remember being terrified by a "400 million million lira" amount being bandied as an escrow fund... (yes, the double million is not an accident)

Prego.

And then you did the math and realized it was only 92 cents?

FYI: Italy's now on the Euro too. It's sad, in a way -- as a kid I travelled to Italy and really liked seeing bills with so many zeros.

Her eyes look as if they are painted on her face. Disturbing.

Yes. My father has gray eyelashes and totally white hair. He is 78.
