I suppose this is my day to announce all the bad music I have liked over the years. I told my friend this weekend that I kind of liked Informer by Snow - remember that song? It was totally stupid but kind of stuck in my head in a good way. He told me that is like admitting to liking Vanilla Ice. I don't think so - I mean they are both white, but that's about as far as it goes, no?
He also told me that I have no discrimination when it comes to entertainment because I like hockey and ultimate fighting challenge and bad music but I also like good music, ballet, opera etc. I suppose that is true, but I don't think that is such a bad thing.
Oh - he also picked up the check, after some discussion, after which I just sort of thought, fuck it, go ahead. And still wants to sleep with me. And nothing happened, nada. We did have a lot of fun though.

Is that the one where the chorus goes "Me licky boom boom down"?
Or something like that?

The other day we saw parts of a program that VH1 is running on the 50 most awesomely bad songs or some such. The choices came from that poll folks were talking about a while back.
Informer was on it, as was Vanilla Ice. The commentary is hilarious, so if you get a chance to watch it you'd probably find it funny. As I recall for Informer they felt that the song made no sense. They really slammed JLo for Jenny from the Block. Similarly, they nailed Michael Jackson for this video in which he was trying to romance women.

You could go as Johnny Depp on 21 Jump Street. but that would probably require a lot of plastic surgery--but with the surge in plastic surgery tv shows, you could probably get some TV station to pay for it. Why those twins wanted to look like Brad Pitt rather than Johnny Depp is way beyond me.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

Ever since he stopped snacking on Kool-Ade and anchovy pizza before bedtime, the logical force of his posts has been irresistable.

Yeah, I feel sorry for Britney too
Is that Britney peeing on Rebecca St. James' head?
"A Grammy-award winning Christian rock star, who preaches a message of abstinence from sex until marriage, says she feels sorry for pop princess Britney Spears who herself once famously vowed to be a virgin until she wed."
http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/Musi...eut/index.html
Someone needs to get laid. And for once it ain't Fugee.
TM
PS - She looks way better in that photo than in any other. See?:

This is so embarrassing:
"Another U.S. abstinence organization 'The Silver Ring Thing,' which is partly funded by the U.S. government . . . ."
I'd take it to Politics except I think the Silver Ring must refer to a cock ring.
And why pick on a fine human being like Britney? When she learned that her midget roadies were getting tired of the monotony of being on the road, she sent them on vacation. I have heard that Britney Spears' bored shorts were recently spotted in Florida.

Open letter to Rebecca St. James

Dear Ms. St. James:
Being in the music business, you may be aware that a group called Bing Ji Ling has done a cover of AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long."
DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS SONG.
Yours very truly,
The Flower

How is a cock ring supposed to dissuade me from having sex outside of marriage? It's not scary to me.
I guess if it were small enough, and you could convince males that they had to wear it during any non-marital sex, that might dissuade them. But it seems like a hard sell.
