Mr. Spanky, would it not better to be gracious and loving between us than nasty? Remember at Galatians 5:26 Paul's letter to the Phillipians tells us:
Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Also, Ephesians 4:32 says:
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Let us all get along.
Peace.

Well it was the right number. However, I got the voice mail so I don't know if she was dodging the call. I will call again in a few hours.

If everyone is getting along that means there is corruption. My thinking on this is a modification of the old adage "Where all think alike, none thing very much, or they all have their hand in the cookie jar." The only time there is overwhelming strong partisan support for anything is when the people are getting screwed.

I have seen swingers and did leave a message. A few years back I would not have left a message but now that everyone has caller ID it looks lame if you call but don't leave a message. However, my message was brief and to the point.

Then why are you calling again in (just) a few (short) hours (on a workday, meaning she is probably at work now, and may still be in a few hours)?

I dated a Serbian when I lived in Toronto.
His name was Dusan (pronounced - well you are all educated people, you know how it's pronounced).
His nickname was The Douchebag. He was wealthy and squired me to all kinds of fancy places and had six motorcycles and was ok in bed, but he stood me up for Batman (the first one, with Michael Keaton - yes, I'm old). Hence the nickname.

There was a guy in my class in high school named Dusan. He has one of the crazy Yugoslavian last names. He got teased about it endlessley. But he was a really good sport about and probably one of the nicest guys in my class. He is now a classics professor at Stanford.

Someone's fishing for a compliment!!!! Oh, alright, I'll take the bait. How ironic that you, of all people, would ask this question. It's like Hank asking what it is like being a drunk. Were you just being self-deprecating, or are you operating on some higher ironic plane? You work on so many levels, it is hard for the non-geniuses among us to keep up! You rascal!

I am more optimistic of my fellow man.
In Luke 10: 29 - 37, we are shown the example such communal and neighborly acceptance when Jesus is asked,
“And who is my neighbor?”
Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell into the hands of robbers, who stripped him, beat him, and went away, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a priest was going down that road; and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan while traveling came near him; and when he saw him, he was moved with pity. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, having poured oil and wine on them. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said, ‘Take care of him; and when I come back, I will repay you whatever more you spend.’
Which of these three, do you think, was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of the robbers?” He said, “The one who showed him mercy.”
Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

She is a student and a waitress. She also works part modeling. Hard to know when she will be in. This seems like a land line, and at the party last night she never used a cell phone. My experience is that most woman, when they have a cell phone, use it at least once when they are out at night.
