I did like the Lionel Richie revival at the very end though - that song is so bad it always cracks me up.

Not that this is an apology for the episode, but the dinner scene was an homage (or cheap rip-off) to the scene in The Godfather where Michael kills the cop and the mob guy who wants to start moving heroin in through the Corleone family's street network(Salazzo, I think was his name).
I wasn't a fan of the episode, but occasionally the writers feel the need to show how clever they are by doing these "dream shows" that allow them to string together their interpretation of famous gangster movies. Brain De Palma and George Lucas have done much better, actually using such scenes to advance the plot and development of the story.

From what I've been told, it may - together with numerous pairs of shoes - dissuade one from ever posting on the GA Boards again.

Sometimes I watch the sopranos and realize that not only do I have no idea what is gonig on, I havent in quite some time> For example, who is Little Carmine? WHo did Steve Buscemi wack two weeks ago ( I blieve it was someone on his own team that he wacked for Johnny Sack for the cash but who the fuck knows?)? Who was Angelo and why did he get wacked? What does all this have to do with Johnny Sack and why dont we get to see his fat wife anymore? Is Finn marrying Meadow bc he is afraid thta the New Jersey constrcution workers are gonna wack him? I get the feeling not but it wouldb e so much better if this is why as Meadow is so detestable.
And I could not believe that was Annette Benning? Unrecognizable.
More Adrianna!!! Is she getting wacked so she can star on the Joey show? And, did christufa have a nosejob. It seems a wee bit smaller, though still as ripe with character, than it used to.

Not too clear on this, but the fact that he wrangled a part on the show this season is a clear indicator of shark jumpingness. That and Tony on a horse.

It finally occured to me last nite that the only reason they brought in all those new characters this year was so that they could provide a few good whackings without getting rid of any original stars.
To the first person whoreplies "D'uh", I say "Fuck you... I'm usually hung over when I'm watching... its not like I have any reason to analyze the damn show."

Advances in teleportation technology
Years ago, I discovered that one can instantaneously teleport 50 to 100 feet if one suddenly comes across a snake in the wild. Depending on the person being teleported, the technology can work just using a little harmless grass snake, though dangerous, poisonous snakes can increase the distance considerably.
I don't know what kind of snake the researchers used with me this weekend, because the teleportation technology kicked in as soon as my mind registered "snake!" I do know that I was a good quarter of a mile down the road in an instant. I wasn't even winded.

Allow me to summarize:
1. Little Carmine is the son of the now-deceased NY boss Carmine Lupertazzi. Lived in Florida but moved back to try to take over for his dad. Leads one faction struggling for control, Johnny Sack leads the other.
2. Buscemi whacked Joey Peeps, a foot soldier for Johnny Sack. Was paid to do it by Little Carmine's crew. Did it as a free agent for the money.
3. Angelo was an old consigliere who joined with Little Carmine. Did time with and was a cellmate of Buscemi in prison. Paid Buscemi for the Joey Peeps killing and was like a father to him. Whacked in revenge for Joey Peeps killing as part of ongoing war...
4. See #1. Sack wants to be the next NY boss and is at war with Little Carmine to get it. Dunno where his wife is.
5. In a word, yes. Choices were to marry into the "family" to protect himself or skip town...
6. Probably not. Show only has 10 more episodes to film. If Chris-to-pha or anyone else catches her working for the G, then all bets are off...
7. Dunno.
