I was a big MJ fan until he put out that "Thriller" video where he was grabbing at his crotch. I was just reaching puberty and our family gathered round the TV to watch MTV’s much-ballyhooed WorldPremierVideo. When the crotch grabbing scene came on my older sister commented that it looked a lot like the dance I did in the bathroom with my Playboy magazines that I had hidden under my mattress and a jar of vaseline. Thereupon she got up and left the room. I did NOT enjoy having to explain that away to my parents who remained in the room, jaws dropped to the floor. I decided at that moment that Jacko was my bete noir and that I would never listen to anything he made from that point on.
Staking an early claim to next year’s death pool I predict that by the end of 2006 MJ will not be with us. One week in jail sleeping with the grown up boys is all it will take to see his end. Damn shame.
