Finn (from CA) got a summer job to stay in NJ from Tony at one of his construction sites... Showed up to work early one morning and walked in on Vito Spatafore (really fat guy in Tony's crew not named Bobby Baccala) blowing a guy.
Freaked out, was planning to leave town, but instead ended up proposing to Meadow.

1. Little Carmine is the son of the now-deceased NY boss Carmine Lupertazzi. Lived in Florida but moved back to try to take over for his dad. Leads one faction struggling for control, Johnny Sack leads the other.
2. Buscemi whacked Joey Peeps, a foot soldier for Johnny Sack. Was paid to do it by Little Carmine's crew. Did it as a free agent for the money.
3. Angelo was an old consigliere who joined with Little Carmine. Did time with and was a cellmate of Buscemi in prison. Paid Buscemi for the Joey Peeps killing and was like a father to him. Whacked in revenge for Joey Peeps killing as part of ongoing war...
4. See #1. Sack wants to be the next NY boss and is at war with Little Carmine to get it. Dunno where his wife is.
5. In a word, yes. Choices were to marry into the "family" to protect himself or skip town...
6. Probably not. Show only has 10 more episodes to film. If Chris-to-pha or anyone else catches her working for the G, then all bets are off...
7. Dunno.

Ah, many thanks. I thought Johnny Sack was the head of New York and I though I had heard Tony say this many a time. Was Carmine senior the lung cancer guy who died in a car wreck?
Did Ralphie's new show get cancelled? I was surprised to not se him in the dead dream last night? When I saw that horse I got a little nervous.
I think Adrianna gets wacked. Care to make it interesting?

Spoiler space
Kind of interesting that when he reached behind the toilet for the pistol (a la when Al Pacino stops being clean in the Godfather), he pulled down a copy of "The Valachi Papers." Does this mean something? Things that make you go "hmmmmmm."
Oh, and his smiling "hey! You're Annette Benning!" at dinner with Finn's parents was amusing.

I think they had all the alumni on who weren't working and needed a check...
Johnny Sack was Carmine's #2 (and effectively ran things toward the end). He was like an "underboss".
As for Adrianna, all bets are off. She could get whacked, she could kill herself from the stress, or she could drop the betrayal on Christupha as the FBI cuffs him in the final episode. Who knows?

That's what I loved about Oz. The writers on that show whacked pretty much everyone. Didn't matter if you were a regular character or not. Your chances of survival on Oz were always slim.

Worst. Episode. Ever.
If the season were a Dead show, last nite would be "Drums>Space." David Chase better have a Dark Star>Eleven>St. Stephen>Other One* ready to roll next week...
Last nite proved that even in the medium of television, there is nothing more dull than a person describing his dream(s).
* No, this is not available anywhere, but Dicks Picks 22 comes damn close.

For me it was like Victim or the Crime > drums/space > Carina. I dont know who this Micahel Weiner is but I suspect he is the Bobby to David Chase's nineties Jerry. I need a Terrapin, man.

Oz had much better, tigheter writing. That show ran like a clock. The Sopranos is a bloated mess. You don't need a script doctor to tell you that you can't fit 30 characters with 15 separate involved plots/subplots into a one hour, 13 episode season. Its likt they're trying to juggle five miniseries at once.
I TiVo it and skip through all the parts involving the divorce, the son and Finn and the daughter. I get everything I need in under 20 min.

I cannot believe that there are idiots out there who watch this shit. Especially when the Fairly Oddparents Meet Jimmy Neutron Power Hour is on.
Anyway

"Corinna... shake it up babe... shake it up nah nah nah... I say Cor-eeeee-eee-na, shake it up now..."
God, that one kills me every time. I had a college buddy who used to carry a huge banner that said "BAD BOBBY - NO CORINNA" to shows.
Victim or the Crime is Bobby going through a Rush phase. "Am I the truthful, right deceiver?" "What ever happened to his precious self control?" God, that's sooo awful.

Right, especially if you're going to waste half an hour on the single thought "Something is bugging me. Something about Tony B. " As an aside, it wasn't clear that Chris' visit wasn't part of the dream, so maybe it won't be a war next week. But geez something has to happen- there are only 2 episodes left, right?
And Mr. hand, I'm not sure I see the proposal as fear enduced. It seemed to me more like he realized he would have a valuable source of power availalble to him if he went through with it. Of course he didn't know how the Soprano women "fight." Best synopsis of a Sopranos "Richie and Janice have their first big fight."

Where is our story about silver cock rings, shoe fetishists and a dog?
