Music Rec (Paigs, You'll Dig These Guys)

This is a very good band, and a very good record:

The Redwalls - De Nova

Solid, straight forward rock with occasional alternative touches and occasional classic rock indulgences (sorta Black Crowesy/Facesish). Some really snide, funny lyrics.

ETA he looks like he might be in Kajagoogoo.

He looks like a cross b/w Steven Tyler and that short-haired blonde girl who is no longer on the OC.

Kind of looks like me IRL, except I would never wear pinstripes that wide.

I've just heard the song "Thank You." Their singer sounds a lot like John Lennon. I am not certain whether this is intentional, but I'd have to guess that it is.

Thank You is fantastic, but Falling Down is the best on the record. There's a lot of hidden anti-war and anti-US commentasry on the record. Normally, that annoys me (U2, Rage... I dislike political music). But these guys do it in a funny, pragmatic way. They make of fun of politics, which is pretty refreshing.

I've gotta try this stuff. What's not to like about a wine with a web site that features the line "if you liked our jugs, you'll love our box."

I've never heard of this guy and I read all of the trashy magazines and watch E! regularly. I have the creepy feeling he is using this whole "diseased kidney" thing to try to garner name recognition. "Red carpet regular"? Please.

Is that harsh?
So he got a kidney from a friend and rejected it. What an asshole. And you'd think that after you'd given your friend a fucking kidney, if he wanted a new one, he'd at least be more discreet about it.

Hank, in 59,767 posts, there will be a chance to earn a legitimate and fully ascertainble 200000 post on an FB board. I will see you there for that race. Will you be sticking with the nonononono sock or something else?

Joel Gott makes some nice wine.

Went to a client thing last night and drank too much of a 1997 Barolo la Rocca (Roagna). It was great last nite, not so much this morning.

The Today Show today

Hillary Duff has lost a bunch of weight. Competing with La Lohan must be tough.

David Gregory is Weird and a bad dancer.
