Apparently, your post was ignored because all the fashionistas were out getting laid. Except for me. I was getting fucked. And my insurance company didn't even pay for dinner.

So the SO is a member of a different board, one dedicated to new moms.
It's a different kind of place. Sheltered, warm. Unlike here, the site is not anonymous -- members disclose as much about themselves as they wish, the site is largely password-protected, and active admins and mods try to filter out the freaks. I don't think Hank is a member, though Lactation Lover is probably there, posing as an overworked mother of three in Muncie, Indiana.
Topics vary, but typically revolve around the usual suspects of kids, breastfeeding, gossip, etc. Flaming is frowned upon, and emoticons are apparently used to a sickeningly sweet extent. Obviously, many of us here would have a hard time relating to this kind of place, but stay with me for a moment.
SO starts cackling last night and tells me to come look at this thread. Seems that one of the members is gushing about a three-way she did with her hubby and another guy.
(As an aside, I'm tempted to criticize the writing. Even after 3 readings, I still could glean very little salacious material from it. Goddamn thing was written like a passage from a bad romance novel, and double anal was not even mentioned once. I was also a bit amused to see the multiple, somewhat embarassed responses of "Oh! Um, uh, thanks for sharing!" leave the overall impression that the poor woman had just farted in public, but whatever.)
But that's not my point. Point is, I was quite surprised to see folks share their 3-way amongst a wide group of people that they KNEW. Here on LT, the forum is ostensibly anonymous, and even to the extent that it's not, the prevailing assumption seems to be that the poster describing the outrageous sex act is full of shit. (See, e.g., Mr. Finch, supra.)
We've beaten the three-way discussion rather thoroughly on this board, but I was curious about this, so:
Poll: Would you describe your three way to a wide group of people who you actually know (and who know you)?
Me: No. Unless it were FMF, then I'd put it on a goddamned billboard on Wilshire.
ETA: Ah, I have been told that there's a GA out there (who has an SO on a mom's message board) where the GA has been arrested for particularly nasty extracurricular activities. FWIW, that's not me.

I would not describe it to avoid offending the 1% of the population who are asexual amoebas. Unless it were FMF, then I'd put it on a goddamned billboard on Wilshire.

Who cares about offending them? You're never going to get lucky with them anyway.

I'm not even sure where Willshire is, but if I had a FMF, I'd put my exploits on a billboard there.

I would not. I tend to be a fairly open person with people whom I consider my friends, but not with those who are merely acquaintances. I would assume that a "wide group" would include too many in the latter category. Not that I really care about them knowing anything that I've done sexually, I'd just rather not discuss my sex life with them.
btw, I have not had sex since Sunday.

If I were this GA, to the extent possible, I would not share this experience with a wide group of people.

Okay, then it'll just be you and me. I can live with that.

There was a lot of bitching about it, and now it's up to be reviewed. I guess it was decided that since I routinely break the policy, I should be tortured with rewriting it.
The biggest issue is "open toed shoes" and whether or not sandals can be considered work appropriate. There is apparently a lot of confusion as to what constituted a sandal. Fortunately, the sub-committee is packed with like-minded individuals who feel strongly that there is such a thing as a work-appropriate sandal. Especially given that we work in Houston, Texas and it gets fucking hot as hell here. The "can slides and mules be work appropriate" question fortunately has been resolved (yes you can wear them, but be mindful of noise). I am not sure if hose/stockings are in the jurisdiction of the sub-committee.

Sandals are work appopriate. Especially high-heeled strappy sandals on women with sexy feet and nice legs.

Let's eliminate the middle step:
If you have sexy feet and nice legs, you're welcome to work here, dressed however.
If you don't, then please cover up as much as possible.
