True, I have little time or energy for a relationship (damn job)which is why I am not going waste it on too young (for a relationship) basketball guy.

We may not be on the same page, but I am comfortable with the decisions I have made.
I don't think I will never understand women. As anyone who has ever met me IRL will probably recognize. I also don't understand the appeal of NASCAR either, but I'm sure I might crack that one in time.

Fondly and cozy,

Flinty

P.S. to Gwinky--I hate myself for loving you.

Ummm, Dee Dee? Not so much alive. Marky and Tommy still kickin' though (as is CJ, far as I know); I thought it was drummers who were supposed to die? Could Spinal Tap be wrong?

Hush. If that is true, my life loses all meaning.

That happens sometimes. I heard about a guy in Garp who got his dick bitten off.

Then why are you posting about the issue??????????

Jeez. Some people.

(It's good that you are comfortable with the decisions you have made, and I say that in all seriousness.)

Eavesdropping

Too late for some of us, but the Supreme Ct in WA says that teenagers have a reasonable expectation of privacy on the phone and that mom can't eavesdrop.

Damn. I wish that had been true when my mother not only eavesdropped on conversations, but went through my drawers. Only thing that saved me was being sneakier than she was.

Washington Supreme Court ruled Thursday that state law prohibits parents from eavesdropping on a child's phone conversations.

The case reached the high court because of a purse-snatching. A 17-year-old boy was convicted of the robbery, in part on testimony from his girlfriend's mother, who overhead him discussing the crime on the phone with her daughter.

The daughter had taken a cordless phone into her bedroom and closed the door. In another room, her mother pressed the speakerphone button on an extension, listened in and took notes.

The court ruled that the daughter and her boyfriend had a reasonable expectation of privacy on the phone. Washington state law prohibits intercepting or recording conversations without the consent of all participants.

Speaking of my famous friends, word apparently got out that I know a lot of people on the internet. So I've been asked to ask my internet friends to talk up my friend on the Project Runway message boards.

There's a Cadwalader associate contestant that can easily be discussed/trashed, too.

That is ridiculous. A teenager has a reasonable expectation of privacy as against his or her PARENTS? That judge is on smack.

Vanessa. In lieu of talking her up, she'll be happy to sell you clothes and/or tell you all about Heidi Klum over drinks.

Only if they display my legs -- I may not be a contest-winner, but I have raveable gams.

Funny. I saw this book in the bookstore during lunch. The authors, Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo, were both writers on SATC. Anyone who relies on relationship advice from comedy writers definitely gets what she deserves.
