So you can now find me at the Spanky show, where the pace is slow, the air is fresh, the wildlife cartoonish with big blue eyes, and the quality generally high. Everyone brings their best shit to the Spanky Show.

You can still reach me on IM but not at the public one. Namaste.

I recently got a PM from the anonymous but fashionable sock that read,

See ya on the SpankyShow. I hope that joint hasn't jumped the shark.

You laughed uncontrollably? I couldn't stop bawling! It made me cry harder than Bambi! It was so BEAUTIFUL and TOUCHING!!!

And shame on you for laughing, RT. Have you no respect for the sacred institution of motherhood?

Not half as pathetic as believing for more than an instant that anyone would have OK Computer, Life's Rich Pageant and Born to Run on the same top five list.

Particularly if that person were of the plaid pant persuasion.

ETA: I note a lot of people use this "in a way" caveat lately. I hear it a lot in convos. Which "way" is it referring to? I assume it implies something pathetic in one way is something other than pathetic in another way. But you refuse to disclose how many "ways" there are, and how many many other "things" (pathetic, abstruse, impolite, erogenous...) the object referred to can be. It's like ending the concert on a Dark Star teaser. You can't leave those loosse ends untied.

Glenn Danzig's "Mother" has the same effect on me.

Elvis on steroids. Mother was the lowest point in music of the last 15 years.

There's a great film on the net of Danzig threatening some bouncer and the bouncer punching Danzig in the face and KOing him flat. Pretty funny shit. I imagine you could get in on google somewhere.

I must admit, I like the Misfits' "Last Caress." You don't hear many hummable songs with lyrics that brazenly offensive.

2. E street was one of the 5 best, not Born to Run.

5 best songs would include the theme from Friends. I heard that on the radio the other day and it really reminded me of what I've been missing. Hearing that song once a week, it was something I just took for granted would always be there, like my mother-in-law's chicken soup, but now years after cancellation it was a reminder of why we need hold tight to the best in life as long as we can....

.... I'll be there for you..... ????????

Well they're not anymore.

He's tiny. Jude Law tiny, but with pecs.

Jude Law and Hugh Grant should do a movie together. The talk show promotions would be hysterical. "So, how does it feel to have the two guys who fucked up the best relationships in history together?" Liz Hurley (in her prime) and Sienna Miller... could there be a better sandwich?

Oh, you people. You're so LITERAL! Must everything be spelled out? Have you ever heard of subtlety? Why must an anvil be used, when a feather will do?

sigh.

As is befitting a woman of your subtlety and discretion.

You're feathery.
