The way you guys fantasize about this makes me want to reach for a copy of the DSM-IV.

FBI: whoops!

bilmore:

Also turns out the fingerprints were on the handle of one of the suitcases blown apart by explosives.

Not Me:

And he is a muslim himself. 'Nuff said.

And it wasn't his fingerprint:http://www.nytimes.com/2004/05/24/na...PORTLA.html?hp

But, you know, hey, I'm sure they will reimburse him for any legal fees he's incurred.

Wrong. No sitting president has ever had a convention drag into September, and the 2004 GOP convention will be later than any for an incumbent in the last 3+ decades.

Dunno the answer, but isn't the more relevant question the spread in weeks between the two conventions, not the actual date? If the challenger was only two weeks before the incumbent, yet an early date, your point about the late dates is kind of irrelevant.

Ty's a nut. do you really think there's a difference between September 2 and August 31 as to 9/11 references?

Conventions start/end on the same days, I think Thursday-monday. but across 8 years that means the dates change. It works out to 9/2, but its effectively the same as Clinton's.

edit: monday-thursday actually, but the point stands

You're welcome.

PS - Neither were the Clinton jokes. Got anything from the Truman administration? I hear they were a riot, and most people have forgotten them by now.
