PS: Is it possible that on Amazing Race, the battered wife ain't so battered and they've just been deleting her responses to her husband's idiocy? Or is she growing more brave each episode?

Did anyone else happen to see Dustin Hoffman on Leno last night?
If so, can you explain WTF he was doing? His comic timing sucks, and his insistence on talking about premature ejaculation and old-man sex led him deeply into creepy-old-man territory.

Most victims of domestic violence live in a bit of a cycle with their spouses. You can see the cycle on AR if you watch closely. At first things are calm, the person is even nice. Next the person gets angrier and angrier and finally s/he explodes and pushes/hits/whatever the victim. It looks to me like their cycle is shortened a bit because of the extreme stress of being on the show. This link is pretty good http://sexualassault.rutgers.edu/batteringcycle.htm
It isn't uncommon for battered women to show some of a response, such as you see on the show.

He's a complete wackadoo. I think it was Jason Schwartzman who was on Leno or Letterman after I Heart Huckabees was released, and telling a story about Dustin picking up a Trannie at Home Depot and having him/her hang around the set all day.
He's one of those people who not only can but actual does tell everyone to just fuck off, because he's Dustin Hoffman.

Happy Holidays, Motherfuckers.
I hope you're all working your pathetic, hourly billing asses off right now while I run around my house in my wife-beater and boxers, eating christmas cookies and farting loudly.

Question
Does anyone know of a good place to find a good rate on a rental car? (Not in NY.)
Also, please enjoy the following cartoon, as I went to the trouble of saving it, so I could share it with you pack of ingrates:
[OK - nevermind -- it seems you can't post pictures that aren't saved on a website -- and that's beyond my skillz.]

FWIW, I'm farting quietly in my office.

Dustin is apparently a magnet for trannies. They find him everywhere.
Where do the rest of you find trannies?

Expedia and Travelocity are about as good as it gets (which is not necessarily spectacular), although if you have your ABA card handy, it's worth double checking directly with the Hertz site directly, as sometimes the discount seems to be calculated differently there.
The ABA discount is definitely worth looking into, especially if you're renting a pricier model (the discount is like 5% for a Ford Focus, but as much as 20% for a Navigator)
