No, no. Thank you.

Is this the link you were using? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/re...s/goldbox.html

This is the link from the main lawtalkers page. It worked for me, but if it's still broken let me know and I'll fix it.

So Scientologists are Buddhists in training? Weird.

Feel safe? Screeners at Newark Airport lost a bag containing a fake bomb used for training. It was recovered later at Schipol after arriving via a Continental flight.

Actually, Mr. Barbarino's inability to spell T-R-U-E P-A-T-H led us to realize that nirvana was unattainable for him, either in achievement or in pronunciation.

He was despondent, and in response to his request for assistance, we briefly contemplated sending him to John the Baptist, but instead directed him to a dog-eared copy of Dianetics.

Indeed, he will lose all of his fortunes, but at least the color coded instructions will be easier for him to follow, and the warmth of the cult's embrace of his celebrity riches will comfort him in his blissful lack of awareness.

Man seeks to escape himself in myth, and does so by any means at his disposal. Drugs, alcohol, or lies. Unable to withdraw into himself, he disguises himself. Lies and inaccuracy give him a few moments of comfort.

While I am honored by this, I am also quite conflicted. You see, a little over a year ago Thurgreed Marshall awarded me his POTY for my analysis of Roy's (Seigfried/Roy) talent being puffed, analogized to Rush/black quarterbacks. Since then my relationship with T. has deteriorated, to say the least. I've been able to weather that loss, but I swear, if my dtb relationship took a similar nose dive, well, lets just say I would not be able to go on.

Theological question for Atticus et al

Is the prophesied return of the Paigow one of the signs of the looming Apocalypse?

My copy of the Comic Book Bible stops just short of addressing this issue.

Ellen

It's the end of the line for Ellen DeGeneres and Alexandra Hedison. People reports the low-key couple has called it quits after four years of togetherness.

But privacy may be a problem after a story in Monday's New York Post linking DeGeneres to Portia de Rossi, 31, whom she was allegedly hanging out with at VH1's Big in '04 show on Dec. 1.

Appears to be an upgrade.

1) I tired quickly of people asking about the status of my boobs after the boy was born (since no answer is correct to some, even if it was their business) and now (as well as before) poking at me in the belly when I mention we are expecting. (I'm still in the first tri and the kid weighs about an ounce - what exactly are they expecting to find?) I have vowed to vomit on the next person who touches me without permission.

2) No idea, but ask any woman with kids and she can confirm my experience that a woman who is visibly pregnant is the recipient of more unsolicited advice (typically dead wrong) than at any other point in her life.
