Yes, you have a fine map.
Cue Hank's "come on a plane" bit.

It didn't seem that painful, though he did beg me to let him come. Begged me several times. While writhing.

I expected it to be great because of the Sports Guy's recommendation. It was not without some good bits. Maybe if I'd been expecting something lousy, I would have been pleasantly surprised.

Gravity's Rainbow is one of the very few books that I put down before getting 50 pages into it. That list only contains about 5 books, with The Brothers Karamazov at the top.

OK, now this is getting unnecessarily personal. Step off.

Important Announcement
I wish to congratulate board regular Paigow Princess for hitting the 6000 mark. She expressed that she is proud that she used #6000 in a benevolent and kind way.

Who is this?
Some guy needs a kidney: http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/TV/0....ap/index.html
I've never heard of this guy and I read all of the trashy magazines and watch E! regularly. I have the creepy feeling he is using this whole "diseased kidney" thing to try to garner name recognition. "Red carpet regular"? Please.
Is that harsh?

Last night: 2003 Joel Gott cabernet sauvignon -- quite nice, and only $15.
Tonight: 2003 Three Thieves zinfandel -- $9.95 cheap for a 1 liter jug.
Wine geeks will note that Joel Gott is one of the three thieves.

It was uncharacteristically mild. You changed "red carpet mainstay" to "red carpet regular." Or they changed the article.
ETA he looks like he might be in Kajagoogoo.

From Apprentice to Bond Company Stooge
I heard today that Jennifer, runner up on last season's Apprentice (3?), was hired at Santa Monica entertainment law boutique Barnes Morris Klein York etc. etc. and etc. Has anybody else heard that? If so, I wonder if she'll be exempt from the standard shitty treatment they usually give their new lawyers (paralegal or equivalent title, <$50,000/year). I gots to know.
