Good for Giuliani.
- As the mayor answered the last of the three questions from reporters, he talked about the root causes of terrorism: "oppressive governments that demagogue and blame and project their problems other places and do nothing to solve the problems of their own people."
"Sounds like the Democrats," shouted a man.
The crowd roared.
It was the kind of stupid remark candidates usually ignore. They either agree but can't show that they do, or they don't want to cause a stir by contradicting one of the partisans they've come to court. Giuliani's aides were already preparing to move him to his waiting SUV. He could have just left.
"Time out," he said bringing his hands together to make a T. "Time out." The crowd quieted down. "The other thing we have to learn is that we can't get into this partisan bickering. The fact is that Republicans and Democrats have the same objectives.... Democrats are loyal Americans. Republicans are loyal Americans. I think we have better answers, but we have to respect each other."

Now I have read this part.
- It now appears that the person most responsible for the end of Ms. Plame’s CIA career is Mr. Wilson. Mr. Wilson chose to go public with an explosive charge, claiming — falsely, as it turned out — that he had debunked reports of Iraqi uranium-shopping in Niger and that his report had circulated to senior administration officials. He ought to have expected that both those officials and journalists such as Mr. Novak would ask why a retired ambassador would have been sent on such a mission and that the answer would point to his wife. He diverted responsibility from himself and his false charges by claiming that President Bush’s closest aides had engaged in an illegal conspiracy. It’s unfortunate that so many people took him seriously.
and my original post, that I agree with the conclusion of a source I believe is biased to the left, is still okay.
What's funny is that for all your "Bush faked evidence" charges it turns out it was you guys who did the faking.

the Republicans started it with the impeachment, but it really has to end. imagine that Dean, as a candidate for President, voiced the opinion that Bush planned 9/11 (you know, the "now who knows if it's true..." I can't find that quote anymore). That we face grave challenges everyone is not open to argument. That we can't solve them divided 50/50 is also apparent to me.

I asked whether you could read because what Slave posted was a WaPo editorial, suggesting that the WaPo is lefty, and I said that the editorial page of the WaPo is not lefty, and often says things at odds with what the writers have written. Fred Hiatt is the head of the op ed page, and presumably wrote that editorial. He is a hack. So, not biased to the left.

I don't understand what you think that Wilson faked, and I don't understand why you or Hiatt think Wilson was fundamentally wrong about Iraq trying to buy uranium in Niger.

Well played by playa R to da Gee, but the thing is, that statement does accurately describe the philosophy touted by the leaders of Democrat party. However, in the spirit of da Mayah's bi-partisanal unification I respect the Dems right under the first amendment to promote such philosophy. Except for the treasonous parts.

I get what you're trying to say but G had said "governments," and with the exception of a few inconsequential states, the Democrats don't control any governments, so I do't think the statement rings true.

The official narrative of the [911 Attacks on America] has been attacked as little more than a cover story by an assortment of radio hosts, academics, amateur filmmakers and others who have spread their arguments on the Internet and cable television in America and abroad. As a motive, they suggest that the Bush administration wanted to use the attacks to justify military action in the Middle East.
Hank, query for you, the most helpful of the helpful posters here,,,,,
how many of that "assortment of radio hosts, academics, amateur filmmakers and others" do you think aren't registered Democrats and/or card-carrying members of the cabal of elitist liberal inteligentsia? How often do the sick treasonous ideas of this "assortment" of appeasers and collaborists defile our own habitats?
In light of these very real fifth columnistical infestions, why would you defend this hate?
Face it Hank, as much as we are fond of your lighthearted buffoonery, you are either with us or with them.....or whatever W said.

I was mostly trying to point out something it seemed you missed when reading Ty's post. Ty doesn't like to converse with people who don't read well. It's not enjoyable for him.
But as to your point, there's a movie I saw that raised some interesting facts about the 9/11 attacks.
Anyway, the director shows that Bush conspired with the Afghans to build an oil pipeline, and that's why he let the attacks happened. Plus, he sat reading a book to kids for several minutes. Do you understand the import of this? He could have stopped the attacks except he knew the attacks were from his friends in Afghanistan so he just kept reading.
P., I voted for the President so I took these revelations pretty hard. The guy who made the movie is Mitchell Mare, or Mike or More or something.
Do you think he's a Democrat?
Are we striking next week, or waiting for a week w/o a federal Holiday.
