Exactly. And my posts of last night were applauding the bridge gapping.....don't spoil it now.

My opinion is if it ain't broke don't fix it. Plus we have all these fun little smileys to play with.

2. As usual Spanky, someone of your unique political persuasion, no offence, speaks the truth, and in a tolerant non-biased, multi-cultural manner tinged with classical liberalism. I think certain people should take note. Assuming you are not on ignore.

Like the american populace, I'm bored of the war on terror. Discussion of it is even more of a quagmire than the war itself. We need some domestic scandal ("Bush lied!" doesn't count) to reinvigorate things.
BTW, what will the Dems do if they retake the House? Seriously--what's the agenda? What will they attempt to accomplish?

Hearings and then Articles of Impeachment.

So, you think they're serious about retaking the Senate and WH in 2008?

Do you think "serious" about those two items is better accomplished by Articles of Impeachment? While I think that they would like those two items, I don't think that their strategy is coherent enough to sacrifice the lure of going after Bush in order for the greater good of their donkey party.

If they knew, and had the ability to actually get the message out, I might have more faith they could retake the House. As it stands, I'm not holding my breath.

No, precisely the opposite. But you're probably right about the lack of an agenda.

While it is lacking, doesn't Impeachment qualify as some type of an agenda?

Given where the R's have been in the House the last few years, her boast may be viable.

Given where the Ds have been the last 40 plus years that doesn't make me feel any safer.
