Buck up. A Democratically held seat permits your rage to burn without restriction.

I don't understand how the RNC can campaign for this turncoat.
But I will say this much - at least our party treats its outliers with a bit of decorum.
Unlike the Dems and their vitriolic smears of Joe Lieberman.

The FT
No comics
No Anne Landers
No sports page
What kind of paper is that anyway?

The most important vote this guy makes is when he votes for Majority leader. The fact that we even have someone from this state that will vote for a Republican is a miracle. The choice is a liberal that votes for a Dem majority leader or a liberal that votes for a Republican majority leader. There is no choice if you understand politics.
If he loses this primary and the Repubs loses the Senate by one vote, we can thank the rocket scientists who knocked him out.

There is a sports page, though its usefulness to me is limited. No Ann Landers, but on Saturdays I can read Tim Harford's column -- he's sort of the Ann Landers of economists. I miss the comics, 't'is true. But I appreciate getting a perspective other than that of the major US media.

I remember when I was little, my parents got the local paper M-F or M-Sat, but only the NYT on Sundays. I was so mad at them about that -- no comics, on the best comics day of the week.

2. That's one vote that won't be blue.

Chafee voted against Justice Alito? You have faith he'll vote for the right Majority leader? Ha!

I think they have as much in common with the people on this board who tend to vote Democrat as the "God Hates Fags" people have in commone with those who tend to vote Republican.

Lucky for Slave he doesn't even have to travel to NYC to find people to beat with a club.
