Absolutely. Just as it is true of human cadavers. Whats wrong with doing scientific research on something that is dead?

Are your client's big investments off-shore or here? it sounds like there is plenty of money, at least in the strata of people who would choose you as their lawyer.

You see - Hank's at least smart enough to realize he's arguing a losing proposition and back off. Why can't the rest of the Rs do that?

I just find it amazing that folks like Bilmore are criticizing Michael J. Fox but saying nothing about the display put on by Limbaugh, who sat there making fun of Fox's Parkinsons disease, imitating him. Or criticizing ads like the ad Corker's supporters have been running in Tennessee.
|
Mr. Limbaugh was being a total moron when he criticized Michael J. Fox.

off-shore or here? or is your access more to the client's preferred caffiene drink, with someone else heading up the paperwork?

Moron as in stupid, or moron as in tacky? Someone here thinks Rush is doing it for effect (shocker!), though that doesn't take away the tack-factor.

I don't advocate killing people for the purposes of science. But once they are dead, if they did not make any plans for their internment or their relatives don't care, I think their bodies should be turned over to scientific research. I certainly don't care what happens to my body after I am dead. They can use it to feed pigs for all I care.
I don't have a problem with killing animals in the name of science. Similarly I have no problem with killing a bunch of cells in the name of science.

Both.
In addition, moron as inappropriate, moron as insensitive, moron as showing you are non thinking partisan hack, etc. etc.

Do you have a principled reason for holding an actor's political advertisement by an actor to a higher standard of truthfulness than, say, the President's State of the Union address?

the "inconsistant" was not to the ad, it was to GGG's religious problems.
Can you elaborate which Bush "lie" you mean? certainly if you are correct about half the shit you have alleged he should be put in prison and the fact that the Congress has not impeached him is an indictment on our entire governement.

I got that. But your issue seems to be that when Fox refers to the "hope" of stem-cell research, you think he is implying that there soon will be a cure. And yet when Bush said the sixteen words, you don't seem to think he was implying that Iraq had WMD.
I don't think you really have a problem with the Fox ad -- I think you're just being oppositional for the fun of it. So I'm not sure why I bothered.

there are about 200 posts that dispute your premise, that he lied. Is your point that Fox believes he will be cured, even though he is wrong? then I don't fault him so much, but do fault the people taking advantage of him. Maybe they are also misinformed?

Hank, you should be thanking me. I was defending you against Spanky's claim that you're dumber than a moron. I note he still has responded to my question about just how dumb he thinks you are. Bastard.
Note that I'm also ready to defend you against Wonk's claim that you're the Gilbert Godfrey of the board - I liken you more to Rush Limbaugh.

off shore or here? it's important- youalone have passed lots of investment money. If it's here, do we need government money? aren't government funding and private investments inconsistant here? hint- what are the motivations of the two investors?
