You're going to stop soon, right? The top of your head blew off a couple of pages ago, and I'm sitting here half-amused, and you suggest I'm emotional? Please.
PS - "No I'm not; you are" insults are even less effective than your prior efforts.

The most interesting question after this election will be whether the Democratic Party is a true Clintonite party - that can appeal to these moderates - or not.

The missing word is "us". And really, this is so silly. He was in the military and everyone thinks he is denegrating our soldiers?
|
As if.
He's done nothing but denigrate our soldiers since the day he got home.
He testified before Congress that his fellow soldiers were rapists and murderers
Little more than a year ago, he accused the troops in Iraq of going into Iraqi homes and tormenting the citizens.
He is a disgrace. And the gift that keeps on giving to the GOP

Quick Spanky!
Watch this!
Houston equivilant of high speed chase. Janitor's union have blocked the busiest intersection in the Galleria area and it looks like the fuzz are about to sweep in and bust the union.
It's quite compelling streaming video if you think about the traffic snarls this afternoon and don't actually have to go anywhere near there.

What can I say? I bow to your obvious ability to keep this discussion in perspective* and not get upset.
*After all, we don't actually disagree on any substance. I think you now understand that I don't find every person without a graduate degree to be a greasy, wife-beating, sister-fucking moron. And you no longer think that I consider all soldiers to be knuckle-dragging dolts. It was dodgy there for awhile, but I managed to convince you of that -- right? And you, too, acknowledge that young Americans do not routinely wrestle with the decision of "Ivy League .... or 2-year stint in the Army?" -- right?

This is the dumbest debate I have ever seen. John Kerry said something that was TRUE. The only mistake or egregious commentary here was his chickenshit apology.
I saw his comment. It was one of the very few things the man's said that actually made fucking sense.
And I agree with it. He's right. Nobody highly educated is running to join the Army and go to Iraq. Before you suggest it, remember - Pat Tillman volunteered to go to Afghanistan.
Kerry's only mistake here was having a Howard Stern moment - saying something ugly we all know and believe, but ain't sayin' out loud.
I actually respected the clod for a day for saying what he said. He, of course, disabused me of that quickly... Kerry never lets ya down in that regard. Any glimmer of intelligence or balls is quickly snuffed.

With Dean holding the cash, the Kossacks running the Lieberman's out on a rail and Pelosi and Rangel chairing the committees?
That's rich.

Perhaps not, but certainly higher than the bar set by a rapist who goes on to sexually harass 20 yo underlings and spends work hours on the public dole masturbating into government owned sinks, and then thumbs his nose at the rule of law by committing perjury before a Federal judge. All of which distracted him from the duties of his office such that he let a terrorist slip from his grasp facilitating the most devasting attack on our nation in its history.
The Dems should be really proud of that role model.

Huh? In the clip that the Rs are jerking off over, or in the actual, entire speech?

we don't all think that, and as proven yesterday, it isn't true.

It's still early in the day, focus on getting laid a few times before midnight. The stress relief will make you a better poster.
I post this because I care.

It's also entirely consistent with everything he's ever said.
From back in 1972:
"I am convinced a volunteer army would be an army of the poor and the black and the brown," Kerry wrote. "We must not repeat the travesty of the inequities present during Vietnam. I also fear having a professional army that views the perpetuation of war crimes as simply 'doing its job.'"

I just see you trying to spin Ty's posts to make it seem like you think he said something that he didn't. Why don't you respond to my prior post about why this bothers you so much? Or to Gatti's post that it was apparently part of a list of one liners about Bush?
I no longer expect more of you, if that is any consolation.
