I think it's cute that you all have offices. I have a desk on an open floor, with an eighteen-inch-high divider between me and the facing desk, and another desk right next to me.

Or maybe just more exciting!

Does this mean I am old? Hopelessly middlebrow? Both? | No. It means you were insufferably pretentious then.

If you are listening to this type music for a similar reason you're fine. c.f. buying tickets to see McCartney or Billy Joel.
 PS I hate the Beatles.
PPS we also need to hear GGG's thoughts on the issue. I believe Patti Smith wrote "Pissing In A River" about time she spent with him?
 | I love the Beatles. I always have and I always will. If you say you hate the Beatles, no matter your other qualities, I cannot help but fee a little less good about you.

The ending of the England-Japan game was indeed as horrible as it gets for a player. There is no way to console this superb athlete. Damn.
Now to the serious business of kicking some Japanese butt on Sunday.

 | Well, the good news is that the press in her country is understanding and sensitive. And that her country is used to heartache, despair and disappointment. I can't imagine they'll be too rough on her.

Oh, and Hank - re the Sirius channel near the Coffee House that you now listen to, could it be the Bridge?

And have you listened to Deep Tracks? When I had Sirius and was in a mood to listen to AOR, I did Classic Vinyl and Classic Rewind, with the occasional dive into Deep Tracks when I thought that the other two were getting annoying. Usually I was a Coffee House, Spectrum, Acoustic Estrogen, or Lesbian Grrls listener.

And an occasional venture to the Broadway Channel for a little Man of La Mancha or Company original cast recordings never hurts. |

I have an "office" to maintain the idea of cliebt confidentiality. That, and so I can talk on the phone most of the day without bothering all the adjusters in cubes outside my "office".
